Kristen is two-time-Emmy nominated journalist who is looking for her next project. Kristen has 15 years of communications experience under her belt and is well-versed in storytelling and strategic communications. Kristen has been recognized for her storytelling by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Missouri Broadcasters Association. Her investigative storytelling during the Flint water crisis and its impact on the Latino community earned her an Emmy nomination. Furthermore, her series West Michigan Warrior, which focused on people defying the odds earned her a second nomination. Her latest campaign called the #DWord helped to internationally shine a light on disability rights and change the way society views the disabled community.
